God's Knight turns out to have
immortality like Gorosei. Gunko had his upper body blown up by Usopp but was
later able to recover easily. This makes them feel very challenging, even for
the Straw Hat Pirates who are already at the level of the Yonko group.
But what about Shanks?
So, we know that Shamrock,
Shanks' twin brother, is a God's Knight and may not be as easily injured as
Gunko. Does Shanks, Shamrock's twin brother, have that privilege too?
Here's my analysis!
1. Shanks' scars insist he's
not immortal

Shanks had already lost his left

under the threat of Imu.

related to the immortality of Gorosei and God's Knight (since
they can all teleport with the Abyss). This Shanks has had scratches on his

have recovered immediately if Shanks had ever had immortality.
2. This immortality is not
automatically owned by all Tenryuubito

What you have to pay attention to
is that immortality is not automatically possessed by all Tenryuubito.
Saint Charlos, who went back and
forth battered, was proof of that.
This immortality seems to be
something given, most likely by Imu, to people he considers important.
