1. Exciting Adventure Story
Each arc/place visited by the Straw Hat Pirates has a different story and meaning. In addition, when they visit a place, it must have its own uniqueness.
The adventures presented in One Piece are almost never found in other anime. The hilarious, exciting and curious story can always entertain fans.
2. Characters are diverse and so are their strengths

Unlike in other anime, sometimes we find it difficult to distinguish a character because in other anime they just change their hair color, hairstyle, or lip shape.
In One Piece, we won't find anything like that. Each character is drawn differently and uniquely and has distinctive characteristics. Only twin characters are sometimes drawn by Oda almost exactly the same (usually different hair), for example Chiffon and Lola.
With the uniqueness of Oda's depiction, fans can easily distinguish the characters even though there are many of them.
3. The many Mysteries waiting to be solved

There are so many mysteries in One Piece that have yet to be revealed. For example, what is One Piece or the meaning of the spirit of "D" or about ancient weapons and many others.
These mysteries are definitely awaited by fans regarding the resolution of the mystery. In addition, Oda's very epic storyline makes One Piece fans have to theorize or speculate because they are very curious..

What I mean here is that each Arc always has a relationship with the next Arc. This starts from the Arabasta Arc when Luffy et al find Poneglyph. It turns out that the Poneglyph tells the story of an ancient weapon called Pluton which was finally revealed in Arc Water Seven.
When on the island of the sky, Robin reads a Poneglyph that tells about Poseidon. In the Fishman Island Arc it is revealed that the mermaid Shirahoshi is Poseidon (Ancient weapon).
Not to mention that Oda had separated the Straw Hat Pirate crew to various islands and the island was perfect for increasing the strength of each Straw Hat Pirate crew.
Epic storylines like this always give fans a surprise. It makes One Piece truly likeable.
5. The flashbacks are not long-winded

In other anime, we often see where the flashback (past story) of a character or character is too long. In One Piece we won't find anything like that. Besides not being long-winded, flashbacks in One Piece are also usually not long. Even so, the audience still knows what is conveyed in the flashback.
