If the Road Poneglyph shows the location of Raftel then what is an ordinary Poneglyph for?

In the One Piece anime, there are ordinary Poneglyphs (gray in color like ordinary stones) and Road Poneglyphs (red in color). Poneglyph is known to exist after Luffy and his friends reach Arabasta Arc.

For the Road Poneglyph, it is known after Luffy et al arrived at the Zou Arc. In Zou Arc, it is known that the Road Poneglyph tells how to reach the last island of Raftel.

In Luffy's understanding, to become a pirate king, he must reach Raftel Island where the One Piece treasure is located.

If the Road Poneglyph can already show the island of Raftel, then what is the use of ordinary Poneglyph? Let's discuss

Until now, Robin has not told Luffy about what he read in the Poneglyphs about Ancient weapons or the history of the void. 

So we still don't know what the connection between the ordinary Poneglyph that tells the history of the void and the Ancient weapon is with the Road Poneglyph that tells about Raftel.

Is it possible that there are Ancient weapons in Raftel? Or maybe some of the stories in ordinary Poneglyphs can only be found in Raftel? I don't really know. What is certain is that the two Poneglyphs have a relationship.
