One Piece Live Action Season 2 Trailer Drops, Netflix Confirms Season 3

Good news for Straw Hat Pirates fans! Netflix has officially dropped the first trailer for One Piece Live Action Season 2, and the adventure is far from over.

Released during the annual One Piece Day celebration in Japan on August 10, 2025, the trailer—titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line—was a double dose of good news. Not only did it confirm a 2026 release date for the highly anticipated new season, but it also delivered an even bigger surprise: the series will officially continue for a third season.

The new teaser gives us an epic glimpse of Luffy and his crew as they prepare to brave the dangerous and unpredictable seas of the Grand Line. Viewers are treated to several key shots, teasing the introduction of fan-favorite characters and iconic story arcs. The trailer shows the giant Brogy from Elbaf, the formidable Smoker, Miss All Sunday (who fans know as Nico Robin), and Princess Nefertari Vivi. It also ends on a touching, nostalgic note with the brief appearance of the colossal whale, Laboon.

The confirmation of a third season has sent the fandom into a frenzy, with many praising the show's faithfulness to the source material. One fan on Netflix's YouTube channel commented, "As a One Piece fan since 2000, i love this so much. Thank you, Netflix for embracing the crazy, fascinating world of One Piece."

Thanks to the direct involvement of One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda and a continued commitment to high-quality production, the live-action series is quickly becoming one of the most successful manga adaptations to date. With Season 2 set to explore the next chapter of the Grand Line saga and a third season already on the horizon, the Straw Hats' journey is just getting started.
