Throughout the course of One Piece, we have come to know the various traits and characters of each of the Straw Hat Pirate crew.
Luffy as the Captain of the ship does have a unique and friendly nature. But there are times when Luffy really hates someone because of the person's nature or because of his actions. Here are 4 types of people that Luffy hates the most...
1. One who sacrifices his/her men/friends/crew.

This type of person is really hated by Luffy. For Luffy, people who sacrifice friends are tantamount to scum. Like when Luffy was furious with Kuro who killed his men and also with Caesar who sacrificed his men.
In addition, when Sanji fought with Vergo (Vergo killed his subordinates), Sanji said that Vergo was the type of person Luffy hated the most.
2. The person who hurt Luffy's best friend

Do you still remember the scene in Arc Water Seven where Usopp was severely beaten by Franky's men? Luffy along with Sanji, Zoro and Chopper were so angry and destroyed Franky's headquarters.
Or the scene where Camie is kidnapped and then auctioned off at a human auction house (Sabaody arc). In this scene, Luffy punched Tenryuubito because he was so angry.
3. People who laugh at other people's Dreams

Luffy never underestimates someone's dream. Luffy would get angry if someone belittled someone else's dream, especially his dream of becoming a pirate king. Luffy even argued with Shirohige about his dream.
When in the syrup village, Kuro's men laughed at Usopp's dream. Seeing that Luffy was furious and said "Once again you laugh at Usopp, I'll kill you". This indicates that Luffy hates people who laugh at/underestimate other people's dreams.
4. A treacherous person

If you remember the scene where Luffy fell into the sewer and met Momonosuke, in that scene Momo told Luffy that Caesar lied about curing children's diseases in the biscuit room.
Hearing this, Luffy was so angry that he clenched his teeth. From this scene we know that Luffy really hates the type of person who lies / betrays.
