Brook is a musician in the crew of the Straw Hat Pirates. Brook looks like a walking skeleton because Brook ate the Paramecia-type demon fruit Yomi-Yomi No Mi which allows the user to live a second life.

Originally Brook was dead, due to the effects of this fruit, her spirit returned to earth and searched for her original body. However, her original body has turned into a skeleton, so Brook looks like a living skeleton.

Brook is just like Sanji who is a pervert towards women. And has sword fencing skills. Brook's dream is to reunite with Laboon, a whale who has been friends with Brook since childhood.
