55 years ago, Shimotsuki Kozaburo made the Enma sword. Then with 25 people, Kozaburo went to East Blue among them were "Shimotsuki Furiko" Ushimaru's older sister and carpenter Minamoto.

Zoro has Shimotsuki bloodline from his grandmother who is a direct descendant of the Legendary Samura of the land of Wano, Shimotsuki Ryuma.
