6 Devil Fruits That Have Changed Owners, Do You Know?

When a devil fruit user dies, the devil fruit from the user will grow again somewhere. This is how the devil fruit works so that one devil fruit can be owned by another person who happens to get the devil fruit.

Here are 6 devil fruits that have changed owners...

1. Mera Mera no Mi, Originally owned by Ace Now owned by Sabo

This is obvious. Ace died in Marineford. Then after Mera Mera no Mi appeared, the fruit was taken by Doflamingo's group and used as a prize for the tournament at Dressrosa's colosseum.
Sabo managed to secure the fruit and became the newest fire man.

2. Gura Gura no Mi, Originally Whitebeard now Blackbeard

Supposedly, after a Devil Fruit user died, it would appear in another region. But Teach figured out a way to obtain Devil Fruit directly from the corpse of a dead figure.

She first demonstrated this in Marineford. Teach did something to Whitebeard's corpse, so Teach was instantly able to obtain the earthquake power of Gura Gura no Mi.

3. Suke Suke no Mi, Originally owned by Absalom now Shiryu

The incident in Marineford was not the last time Teach was able to secure the Devil Fruit in One Piece from its dead user. Before the second half of Wano began, it was revealed that Blackbeard's group had killed Absalom, the Suke Suke no Mi user.

The disappearing power of Suke Suke no Mi was transferred to Shiryu, the sadistic swordsman.

4. Soru Soru no Mi, Originally owned by Carmel Now Big Mom

In the past, when little Charlotte Linlin was enjoying a big meal, suddenly her friends and Carmel who were supposed to be around her disappeared. What happened? Initially, it was thought that Linlin ate them all, but the exact answer has yet to be revealed.

What is clear is that after that incident, Carmel's power of soul manipulation was now owned by Linlin. Linlin can also use it more powerfully than Carmel.

5. Mane Mane no Mi, Originally owned by Kurozumi Higurashi now Mr.2

In One Piece 965, it was revealed that Kurozumi Orochi was able to become the shogun because he was mentored by a mysterious old woman. This old woman is revealed to be the owner of Mane Mane no Mi, and her name is Kurozumi Higurashi.

With Mane Mane no Mi, the old woman was able to disguise herself as Kozuki Sukiyaki, which established Orochi as the temporary replacement shogun.

What happened to the old woman afterward? It's still a mystery, but since Mr. 2 already has Mane Mane no Mi, the old woman should be dead.

6. Bari Bari no Mi, Originally Kurozumi Semimaru Now Bartolomeo

Bari Bari no Mi was once possessed by a man named Kurozumi Semimaru of the Kurozumi clan. This power was used to protect Orochi from Oden's rampaging slashes.

It is not yet known what happened to Semimaru later, but considering that Bari Bari no Mi is now owned by Bartolomeo, it seems that Semimaru was destined to die in the past.

Those are the six Devil Fruits in One Piece whose powers changed owners.
