Before Luffy and friends arrived at the Whole Cake Island Arc. Luffy once stopped at Zou. The Zou Arc is arguably the shortest Arc but has many mysteries that have not been solved until now.
Here are the unsolved mysteries in the Zou Arc...
1. Why does the Mink tribe respect the Kouzuki Clan so much?

in manga, at least explained that Momo's father (Kouzuki Clan Leader) once saved the current Mink tribe leaders, Nekomamushi and Inuarashi.
Even so at the time of being saved by Momo's father, neither Inuarashi nor Nekomamushi had yet become leaders of the Mink tribe. So why does the Mink tribe respect the Kouzuki Clan so much?
2. Why is it that only Momo can command the Elephant Zunisha?
When Jack attacked Zou again, Luffy and Momo heard the voice of Zunisha's elephant. Zunisha asked to be given orders to counterattack Jack. Although they both heard this voice, Luffy could only hear it while Momo could give orders. This is really a mystery, plus whether Momo has hidden powers or not.
3. Who was the person who punished Zunisha?
1000 years old, Zunisha continues to walk endlessly because she was punished for her past crimes. Imagine there is someone who is able to punish Zunisha a super giant elephant with extraordinary destructive power, of course that person is very great. But in Arc Zou it is not told who punished Zunisha.
4. Why are there no reptiles in the mink tribe?
If you look closely, the Mink Tribe is not in the form of reptiles such as crocodiles or alligators. This might be Oda's own idea because in one of the scenes it is explained that the Mink Tribe eats animals that have no fur. Animals that have no fur are of course reptiles.
5. The final destination of Zunisha's Elephant journey
Zunisha's final destination is not explained but she definitely has a final destination. This possibility is still kept tight by Oda to surprise fans.
Those are the mysteries that still remain in the Zou Arc.
